Welcome!
Eureka Baptist is a multi-generational church established in 1875. We are located three miles south of Richland, Missouri on highway FF just across the Laclede county line. We are a community of believers in our savior Jesus Christ, God’s son. We strive to center our lives on Jesus by loving God and others.
We desire to share God’s love and forgiveness of sin in the tri-county area. We also seek to meet the physical and spiritual needs by supporting local ministries and missionaries around the world.
We would love to have you worship with us. We are friendly folks and the atmosphere is very welcoming. We have Bible study groups for all ages and nursery services, as well.

What We Believe
In John 14:6, Jesus said, “I am the way, the light, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me”. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Eternal life (salvation) can only be graciously given and received by confession of our sin and acceptance of Christ as our savior.
Our Mission
Our mission at Eureka Baptist church is to fulfill the requirements God set forth in Micah 6:8
Pastor Doug Jacobson
Brother Doug has been pastor of Eureka Baptist Church since 1984. He loves the people of Eureka which is evident in the warm relationships that he has established and his lengthy tenure as their Pastor.
He is a graduate of Missouri State University. He is a long-time educator in the area as a teacher, principal, and superintendent.
His wife, Joy Lynn, is a graduate of Drury University and retired from teaching in 2021. They have two grown daughters, two granddaughters, Everly & Ada, and one grandson, Carter Reid. Pastor Doug is a die-hard St. Louis Cardinals fan.
